Station to Station
Saturday's are the one day of the week where my brain gets to wander wherever it wants with hopefully no thought of the responsibilities of work. Most days it wanders from song to song. Pull out of the station today with David Bowie.

Useless Internet Information
I was shocked to look at the Weather Underground app recently and note a warning for a tropical cyclone.
I wasn't too worried as it was over 9000 miles away and moving at a speed which gave me over forty days to prepare. That's to say IF a tropical cyclone from the Indian Ocean could reach the Great Lakes area. It's the kind of irrelevant, useless information for which the internet excels.

And the Winner Is...
For Most Favored Holiday Wrapping Paper: Highlights Candy Cane
Leave it to a sister to know how to share a happy memory with her sister. Ali received her gift from her sister wrapped in candy cane paper with hidden images. She was delighted by her sister recalling the simple happy memory of Highlights Hidden Image puzzles from the magazine of their youth. Christmas is all about making others happy. Her sister succeeded.

Fixed It
I can't imagine anyone staying at this location for any other reason beyond business. At least the hotel was festive during the holiday season.
There's something good to be said for sitting in a holiday decorated gazebo with low 70's temperatures.
The thought of going home was much better.

Mournful Barricades
It is worth asking what event has given these truckstop barricades their profoundly sad expression. Is it the reality they live at a truckstop guarding the King? Perhaps it is their position in life which makes them the unhappy target of countless male dogs. Who knows?

Make Yourself Comfortable
At least United has a sense of humor. :(
There aren't enough seats in the C terminal to handle the number of passengers. It gets worse when they overbook flighs. At least they didn't treat me like a dog.
