Do Not Swim With Alligators
It's nice to post a warning, but sometimes shouldn't evolution be allowed to happen? The park team at Lake Manatee State Park has this posted at the swimming beach.

Portrait or Landscape?
We were at a hotel in Dallas recently and saw the following.
Ali saw me looking oddly at the picture and commented that she thought it was hung wrong and should be landscape orientation.
Portrait or landscape? You decide.

Workout While Washing
It has been a while since I stayed at a Candlewood Suite. The one in Fort Wayne always seemed a little tired and often showed signs (teeth marks) from prior dogs who were in the room. We were in Texas and headed to Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge when we stopped for the evening at a Candlewood. The chain offers a combination of laundry and workout room in the same area. It makes for a great reason to get a little exercise while waiting for the wash.

Yellow Submarine
I was in Gowanda on my way to a late afternoon hike in Zoar Valley. This yellow submarine was sitting in the side lot of a yard on a side street. I find the thought of being in this unit while under water terrifying. I was also surprised to find this submarine has a history. It made the news years ago when a neighbor sold the submarine to a third party for $300, despite not being the owner. It appears to have received a nose job since the theft.
And our friends are all on board
Many more of them live next door
And the band begins to play
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
