Pull Down
I hadn't stayed in a hotel that included instructions for the shower with the room keys before this week. I guess I can cross this off my bucket list. :)

Mixed Drinks
For years I mixed a lot of things with orange juice. I really like orange and pineapple juice and orange and mango juice. With the Simply Orange brand, I no longer need to mix those. Lately, rather than drinking the watered down hotel breakfast orange juice, I've taken to buying a large bottle when traveling and using the room fridge to keep it cold. With all that orange juice around, I've rediscovered the great taste of Sprite and orange juice mixed together.

They Are Back!
Big smiley face for the return of Hostess! They are back on the shelves. I was in a grocery store in Kendallville, Indiana and spotted them on the way to get orange juice. The new product seems to be more of a throwback to the Hostess products of my youth. The cupcakes were a little less sweet and quite tasty.
It has been a long time since they left the shelves, but I am happy they are back. I must admit, while Hostess was gone, I cheated with the product's Canadian sister, Vachon.

Beware... this happened to me.
It's almost 1a.m. in Fort Wayne. I just got finished walking downstairs to meet the hotel desk. Why? Because I received a phone call from a man reporting to be from the hotel and claiming the hotel had a problem with their computer. He stated he needed information from me to confirm my reservation at the hotel. I gave no information, hung up, and walked down to warn the hotel desk staff. This was not an isolated hoax according to this BBB news story.
Be warned the world is full of people who want to steal from you.

One Happy Water Tank

This water tank is sure to brighten one's day. The tank fits the town's residents. They seemed quite friendly during our short visit. I wonder though if the smile doesn't come from the water tank's knowledge of the two big guns at the base that are protecting it from invasion by wandering Michigan residents. ;-)
