Mass Transit

I'm not really sure I would have chosen this name for my transit system.

Unless Sarasota wanted to honor Elle Fitzgerald. 😊  That would be a great way to honor one of jazz' finest talents.

Coconut Patties

I have long been a sucker for Mounds bars. While we were visiting Myakka State Park in Florida, we stopped at the souvenir store for a drinks. I noticed Coconut Patties. They are squares of coconut surrouned on five sides by dark chocolate. If you like Mounds, these are perfect.

I am also a big fan of pineapple so the only Coconut Patty better than the original might be Coconut-pineapple Patties.  :)

I'm not so sure about world famous, but they are tasty.

Southwest Tug Slogans

Air travel is usually stressful.  Missed flights, TSA delays, and cramped planes are only a few of the pains of traveling by air.  The airlines contain an assortment of staff that crosses the spectrum from friendly and helpful to uncaring and nasty.  For the most part, the staff at Southwest appear to enjoy their work and spread good feelings with their passengers.  Silly things like painting slogans on the Tugs help keep it light.

I'm a little pushy.

I go out with runway models.

Useless Internet Information

I was shocked to look at the Weather Underground app recently and note a warning for a tropical cyclone.

I wasn't too worried as it was over 9000 miles away and moving at a speed which gave me over forty days to prepare.  That's to say IF a tropical cyclone from the Indian Ocean could reach the Great Lakes area.  It's the kind of irrelevant, useless information for which the internet excels.

Do Not Swim With Alligators

It's nice to post a warning, but sometimes shouldn't evolution be allowed to happen? The park team at Lake Manatee State Park has this posted at the swimming beach.
